Artists & artwork

Artist subscriptions and new-work inbox

Follow Pixiv or X artists, read their new work in Nephele, and optionally save it to your library.

Add an artist

  1. Open Toolbox → Artist Subscriptions and sign in to Nephele.
  2. Search by artist name or Pixiv UID. For an X account, enter @handle.
  3. Check the account and subscribe. The page shows your available slots and quota.
  4. Select an artist in the sidebar, or open the combined feed.

Rankings and curated features are in Trends; you do not need an artist subscription to browse them.

Automatic delivery of new X posts may also consume Nepheline. Check the subscription confirmation for the free period, cost and daily limits. Post delivery and auto-save to the library are separate settings.

Notifications and groups

Right-click an artist to set a group, a local display name, or a notification level.

LevelBehavior
SilentReceive new work without notifications
NotifyReceive new work and notifications
PriorityNotify separately for this artist
PausedPause delivery and notifications until resumed

If updates stop, check whether the artist is paused before assuming they have not posted.

Save new work automatically

Open the artist's auto-save settings and choose a library and folder. New work received in the feed is downloaded there, while its feed entry remains. Different artists can use different destinations.

Fetching recent works is a separate action from ongoing auto-save. X fetches may consume Nepheline and have quota or cooldown limits; check the prompt before continuing.

Missing updates or failed saves

Refresh the list, then check pause state, subscription slots and available credits. A disconnected library, network errors or platform restrictions can also prevent import. The failed-import view shows the reason.

Hidden posts, masked content and works marked against reposting may not be saved. Unsubscribing removes that artist's feed entries, but leaves files already saved to your library intact.

Continue in the Resource Library or put references on a Reference Board.
