Web clipping

Use Wisp to save a web image or full-page screenshot into your current library, together with available source information.

Before you start

Keep Nephele running, connect a library, and check that Wisp is connected in Chrome or Edge. Sign in to the source website in that browser if the image requires an account.

Save an image

  1. Right-click the image and choose 保存到 Nephele (Save to Nephele).
  2. Wait for the desktop app to download and import it. Avoid repeated clicks while a slow page or verification is pending.
  3. Find it in the library. The source page and available author, tags and publication date are retained; unavailable metadata is not invented.

Save a page

Right-click a blank part of the page and choose 保存到 Nephele, or use the default Alt + Shift + S shortcut. The page is saved as a screenshot.

This is an image of the page, not a fully interactive offline website. Image clips and full-page screenshots are supported; link bookmarks and selected text are not yet saved as independent items.

If nothing is saved

  • Check the desktop app, library connection and Wisp status.
  • Open the source page and resolve sign-in, CAPTCHA or network issues before retrying.
  • Thumbnails, lazy-loaded content and site restrictions can affect original-image retrieval. Check the actual imported result and error message.
  • Protected browser-internal pages cannot be clipped.

For an entire Pinterest or Huaban board, use whole-board import. Saving a reference does not grant permission to republish the artist's work.
