This Beta is not Developer ID-signed or notarized by Apple. macOS may block its first launch; read the steps below before installing. Intel Macs are not supported yet.

Install and first launch

  1. Extract the ZIP, quit any running Nephele Workshop instance, and drag Nephele Workshop.app to Applications.
  2. Open the app. If macOS cannot verify the developer, confirm that the file came from this official website, then go to System Settings > Privacy & Security and choose Open Anyway. Follow the system confirmation.
  3. For screen picking and process recording, grant Screen Recording permission when prompted. Quit and reopen the app if required. First launch and model downloads require internet access.

Current limitations

  • Updates are manual downloads. Replacing an unsigned Beta may require granting system permissions again.
  • Screen picking has a known small color-value discrepancy.
  • Region recording, multiple displays, tablets and login startup have not completed full hardware acceptance.
  • Some Windows-specific painting-app integrations, modifier double-taps and mouse-side-button triggers are not supported.
